Designed around a rugged bare-tube bundle shell and tube layout, B-1204-A6-F provides practical cooling performance for fluid power applications. The unit is arranged as a four-pass exchanger and is built around a 6.13-inch shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 42.34-inch overall length. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and optional zinc protection. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
