Designed around a rugged bare-tube bundle shell and tube layout, B-1003-A6-F-BR-Z provides practical cooling performance for fluid power applications. The unit is arranged as a four-pass exchanger and is built around a 5.13-inch shell, 27-inch shell length, and roughly 32.65-inch overall length. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and included zinc protection. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. This style of cooler is well suited for hydraulic, lubrication, and mobile equipment applications. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
