B-1003-A4-O-BR-CN is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. Its construction centers on a one-pass shell and tube layout with a 5.13-inch diameter shell, 27-inch shell length, and approximately 32.75-inch overall length. Construction includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel cooling tubes, Cast Iron end bonnets, and optional zinc anodes. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
