This B Series unit is configured for reliable water-to-oil cooling, and B-1002-C6-T-BR-Z combines serviceable construction with durable materials. It uses a two-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.44 inches overall. Construction includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper cooling tubes, Cast Iron end bonnets, and included zinc anodes. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
