B-1002-C6-O-BR-CN-Z is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.75 inches overall. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and included zinc protection. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. This style of cooler is well suited for hydraulic, lubrication, and mobile equipment applications. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
