B-1002-C6-F-BR-CN is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a four-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.65 inches overall. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and optional zinc protection. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
