Description
B-1002-C4-O-BR-CN is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.75 inches overall. Construction includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel cooling tubes, Cast Iron end bonnets, and optional zinc anodes. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. Material options such as copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes expand its usefulness in harsher water conditions.
